Purple red with violet highlights. Aromas to fine black currants, violets and spices. In the mouth, a wine with texture, elegant, where the black fruits and fine tannins stand out. Well balanced with a long and fine finish. This plot was one of the first to be harvested. The grapes are destemmed and then left in an open tank before starting the fermentation process. After prolonged contact with the skin the wine is pressed and transferred to French oak barrels - the combination of new and second use where it remains aging for a period of 20 months. The wine was bottled in December 2012 and the minimal intervention was used, without clarification or filtration.
This wine goes very well with lamb, juicy red meats and cured cheeses.
