The Artacho family already had a deep winemaking tradition when in 1890 he founded Bodegas Riojanas together with Rafael Carreras. Signs of that tradition are the stone gate that in 1799 allowed access to family vineyards and that is now preserved at the entrance of the Cenicero winery.
Bodegas Riojanas has more than a century of winemaking tradition in its Cenicero cellar. Its corners are impregnated with history and tell us about the passion that has been lived in it for the aging of its wines.
That tradition and that passion have been transmitted to the current team of Bodegas Riojanas, which considers its commitment to the quality and personality of its wines as its most precious heritage.
