Wine Pairing of the Week: Malbec with Oxtail

Which food would go well with our tasty Domaine Bousquet Reserve Malbec?

For today's food pairing suggestion we have chosen Domaine Bousquet Reserve Malbec from the famous Tupungato region of Mendoza in Argentina.

Domaine Bousquet Reserve Malbec has attractive aromas of dark fruit; blackberries, blackcurrant, plums and cassis, nicely rounded with hints of oak and chocolate. This wine is a great example of typical Argentinian Malbec; soft, sweet tannins and mature fruit give an elegant wine which is both full bodied and well balanced.

Domaine Bousquet Reserve Malbec would be perfect with any red meats, even with a steak tartare, but today our suggestion is a typically Spanish dish from Córdoba; Oxtail (rabo de toro). This is a very rich dish which will be ideal with our full bodied wine.
